How Is It Used?

5 Dynamics' tools are designed for the used by managers with employees, by coaches with clients, and by employees with each other.

We demystify process improvement, and enable people to take charge of their own development.

As people's understanding of "process" expands they instinctively make two kinds of discoveries:

  • How the human contribution to processes can be optimized for external success and internal satisfaction.

We provide people and organizations with a systematic way to understand and apply strengths, to grow and adapt to situations, and to enlist other people to help achieve common goals.

5 Dynamics' tools are process tools. That is, they are valuable in any situation where the human component of any process is critical to overall success.

The Starting Point Assessment simultaneously measures, and then applies people's preferences in three areas: working, learning, and collaborating. These are measured in terms of the ability to sustain high performance without stress as they move through any process.

The application extends naturally from the individual to the pair, from the pair to the team, from the team to the enterprise, and from the enterprise to its value chain. All use the same model.

However, to gain traction, tools such as ours must directly help to achieve goals and solve meaningful problems—this is called "action learning."
