Mike Sturm

“Walk joyfully on the earth and respond to that of God in every human being.”

Mike Sturm, the creator of 5 Dynamics, passed away January 3, 2012 in Santa Cruz, CA.

In his life and his life’s work, he did his utmost to live day by day, minute by minute, according to this precept of George Fox, the founder of his Quaker faith. Mike often cited these words as the compass for his own journey.

We love you too, Mike.

Namasté.

Mike Sturm

Mike and I shared many wonderful moments together - in Canada, Colorado, Nebraska, the Carolinas, and elsewhere. We worked on client assignments together, helped to tweak the 5 Dynamics instrument, collaborated on his and my books, and philosophized about the world. He called me his "Soul-Brother". We trusted each other in ways that soul-brothers do. We loved each other and always will. Until we meet again anam cara - I love you. I send much love to all of the family too.

How could anyone not be enchanted by Mike Sturm after spending just a few minutes with him as he talked about his ideas, his family, and his deep beliefs? He was man of charisma whose heart is filled with love. What a guy you were Mike. What a guy you will always be to me.

I felt like he loved me as well as the person I COULD be from the instant he met me. He spent a LOT of time with me one on one telling stories and sharing his research to help me understand, not only myself, but others as well. He showed me what it meant to be a loving father and a supporter in the greatness of mankind. I love him and will miss him and his wisdom. He was very special to me and made a HUGE impact in my life.

In the first 15 minutes we met, Mike knew more about me than I knew about myself. He helped me to understand me and I am better because of him. Thank you, Mike. You have had a profound impact on my life. You will be missed.
